Legacy Elite Special is one of two sub-series in the current lineup of the Legacy series. The other one is the Legacy Elite. There are three Special models, as there are three Elite models. Both lines have one four-stringer, one five-stringer and one six-stringer, each. Legacy Elite Special 5 is a solid and double-cut bass, which is located in the upper intermediate section of the market. It competes against the expensive and luxurious five-stringers of other brands. Body of this full-sized five-stringer is made of mahogany back with figured maple top. On the top of the body, Zon installs a standard five-saddled hardtail bridge and a pack of two active humbucker pickups. Neck is bolted to the body and topped with a 24-fret phenolic fingerboard.
