Sonus Custom is the top tier of the Sonus series and it is the top of the entire Zon catalog. There are, currently, only three models with Sonus Custom badge. One four-stringer, one five-stringer and one six-stringer. Sonus Custom 5 comes with a solid, double-cut body made of swamp ash back and maple top (swamp ash is Zon`s favorite body wood for upscale models, while alder and basswood are used for the lower ones). Maple tops (both flamed and quilted are a very common feature on Zon`s upscale models). On the top of the body, Zon installs the standard pickups combo (two active humbucking pickups) and the standard hardtail bridge with chrome plating. Chrome-plated tuners, full-length scale and 24-fret phenolic fingerboard complete the specs list.
