Zon is, along with Warwick, Spector and a few others, in a league of it`s own on the electric bass market. All of these brands are dedicated solely to the production of electric basses, casting the electric and acoustic guitar production completely aside. Zon is a lot smaller than the Warwick and has a smaller catalog with fewer series and fewer models. The most popular one is the Sonus, a range made up of several Sonus sub-lines. RT series is one of the popular Sonus lines and it`a made up of three models. Sonus RT5 is one of them. It features a solid, double-cut body made of maple, bolt-on neck joint, standard scale, active electronics (two single-coil pickups are featured on this model), chrome hardware and phenolic fingerboard.
