Alvarez`s Blues & Jazz series, as its name says, aims primarily at jazz and blues guitarists. The current lineup has two divisions - electric and acoustic. There are five archtop electric and ten steel-string acoustic models, all sporting sub-$1,000 price tags. AAT25 is one of the latest additions to the electric side of the series. It is a traditional archtop guitar with a non-cutaway body, short 24-3/4" scale, and a singular pickup. Main features include maple back, sides, and top, 14th fret set-in neck joint, Duncan Designed electronics (solitary P90 pickup in the neck position), and stock hardware. Tobacco Sunburst is the only available color option. Other notable features include a solid mahogany neck, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard, tune-o-matic bridge w/trapezoid tailpiece, and die-cast tuners.
