PE series offers LP-inspired axes, mixing together both the ones with traditional, as well as the ones with a more modern approach. The traditional side of the roster is bigger and more prominent, though the modern side does offer some of the finest Les Paul-like guitars in lower intermediate and intermediate sectors.
PE-DC Evolution starts off with a double-cut variant of a standard PE body, flued-in neck, Aria electronics, and combined Aria/Gotoh tuners. Candy Apple Red, Black and Pearl White options exist. Main construction features include a solid mahogany body, carved maple top, maple neck (3-piece neck, heel-less cutaway), and rosewood fingerboard (22 frets, dot inlays, 24-3/4" scale).
Other important features include a licensed Floyd Rose tremolo bridge, Aria humbuckers, and Gotoh SG301 tuners.
