ASM 1 is one of the basic models from the ASM/Assassin series made by B.C. Rich. This series is focused on a special type of metal guitars, the shred axes. ASM 1 is a solid, double-cut guitar with classic Soloist design and flat-top design. Standard six-string construction, bolted neck, 25-1/2" scale and 24-fret fingerboard combine the vintage 1980`s approach with modern trends. Body of this model is made of basswood and paired with a bolted maple neck. Pearl Black, White and Metallic Red color options are available. All are finished in gloss and have chrome hardware. Non-locking trem bridge is fronted by a pair of passive humbuckers. Neck on this six-stringer is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
