Mockingbird started out as a hyper modern solid-body guitar made for rockers who needed a more aggressive and out on the edge guitar than what was offered back in the 70s. Over time, Mockingbird Bass and Polarity (chambered electro-acoustic guitars) models were introduced. Mockingbird Polarity Deluxe. Mockingbird Polarity Deluxe comes with a chambered body made of mahogany back and sides and flamed maple top. The neck is also made of mahogany and it features the modern C profile in the back. 24-fret ebony fingerboard sits on its top (1-11/16" nut, 12" radius). Electronics unit features an under-saddle transducer pickup, bridge humbucker (Duncan Designed HB-102) and neck humbucker (HB-102). Complex controls unit enables the players to use both system individually or mixed. Fixed acoustic bridge and Grover tuners complete the specs list.
