Apple Horn 8 is one of two Mattias IA Eklundh`s signature models made by Caparison Guitars. Just like its six-string sibling, Apple Horn 8 is recognizable for its unique True Temperament fretwork, which includes uneven fret spacing, as well as for the fret count - which is 27 on both models. Apple Horn 8 is, simply put, a killing machine. It comes with an offset mahogany/walnut body and a bolt-on maple/walnut neck (5-piece neck). The neck features custom Apple Horn 8 profile in the back and a bound rosewood fingerboard on top (compound 13.77"-15.75" radius). DiMarzio`s D Activator 8 and PAF 8 are elite passive humbuckers in eight-string class. Other major features include a recessed Floyd Rose bridge, 2.125" locking nut and Gotoh tuners.
