Allan Holdsworth Signature HF2 Fatboy comes with a solid body equipped with a single cutaway. It is made of alder and birch with chambered construction. Top wood covers come in many options for this model, from flamed and quilted maple to some exotic ones. In the bridge section, tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail bar are both plated in chrome. This is the starting option, though there are alternative options. Carvin installs two humbucking pickups on this Fatboy. They are controlled with master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Neck on this model is made of maple and it comes with a set-in joint. This neck is topped with an ebony fingerboard. 24 medium jumbo frets, dot position inlays, 20" radius and 1.69" wide string nut complete the fingerboard.
