DC3 is one of three DC models in 22 Fret Carved Top series of solid bodied electric guitars made by Carvin. It comes with a solid, double cutaway body made of Honduran mahogany. There are no top woods, bindings or pickguards featured on this model. Pickups are made by Carvin and installed in H/H configuration. These are controlled through a simple and effective controls setup which consists of master volume, master tone with push-pull switch and a three-way toggle pickup switch. In the bridge section DC3 follows after DC4 and 6 and features a tune-o-matic with string-through construction. Honduran mahogany neck is set and covered with an ebony fingerboard. The fingerboard is equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets, 12" radius, dot position inlays and 1.69" wide string nut.
