SH550 Cedar Top is a semi-hollow model from Carvin`s Carved Top series, and it comes with a double cutaway body made of mahogany back and cedar top. The top is carved with two "f" holes and finished in high gloss. In the bridge section Carvin installs a tune-o-matic bridge with stoptail bar and chrome plating. Other bridges and hardware finishes are also available. In the pickups area, two active humbuckers are installed, and they come with master tone, master volume with coil-splitting push-pull switch and a three-way toggle pickup selector. Neck is made of mahogany, it` set and topped with an ebony fingerboard. Fingerboard comes equipped with a set of 22 medium jumbo frets, block position inlays and 1.69" wide string nut.
