ML-1 is the most frequently used platform in Chapman`s Signature range. It is the Strat-inspired double-cut guitar, made in either bolt-on or neck-through-body styles. Rob Scallon`s signature series features two neck-through ML-1 models, one with six and the other with eight strings (this one). ML-1 8 RS starts off with a full-length neck (neck runs through the body), sculpted body, Chapman hardware, and Chapman electronics. Like its six-string companion, ML-1 8 RS is available only in Natural (black hardware, satin finish). Main construction features include a C-shaped mahogany neck, swamp ash body wings, and 24-fret ebony fingerboard. Other important features include a string-through hardtail bridge, locking Chapman tuning machines, and Chapman humbucking pickups.
