Back in the `80s, early shred guitars came in pretty much any shape and with any combination of "sufficiently good" features. But, the flat-top San Dimas guitar rose far above the competition with its choice of flat-top Superstrat bodies, Floyd rose bridges, Seymour Duncan pickups and fast 22-fret maple necks. Today`s Custom Shop San Dimas Mahogany is on the classic San Dimas trail. It rocks a flat-top mahogany body, together with a one-piece maple neck (quartersawn). 22-fret fingerboard comes in with a compound radius, 25-1/2" scale, dot inlays and jumbo frets. A pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers fills the bridge and neck positions. basic controls unit is installed with them. Floyd rose bridge, locking nut and Charvel die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
