Club 7 String is one of three options offered in this series. Club features the solid and double-cut concept with modern styling and design. The main difference is the tonewood selection for Conklin`s models. Instead of standard options like mahogany, alder, basswood and maple, Club 6, 7 and 8 have bodies made of Canadian cherry, which adds a unique flavor to their tone. Bodies of the Club series are solid, double-cut and have flat tops. 25-1/2" scales, 24-fret fingerboards and black hardware are also featured on these models. Bridge section on this particular seven-stringer is made up of a hardtail bridge with strings running through. Open-coil humbuckers are featured in the front. Catalpa and maple neck is topped with a 24-fret bubinga fingerboard.
