Crossover is a model from the Custom Shop section of the Conklin Guitars catalog. It features the modernized variant of the classic Telecaster design, meshed together with the curves of Les Paul. An interesting combo, which seems to work out mighty fine. This particular Crossover is solid, single-cut and made of walnut back and buck eye burl maple. Top is massive and carved with a characteristic Conklin styling. There is no binding around the edges and there is no pickguard installed on the top. Hardtail bridge is featured on this model and it features six adjustable saddles. Electronics section is equipped with a pair of humbucking pickups with an elaborate controls unit. Neck is made of five pieces of maple and it is bolted to the body. 24-fret fingerboard is made of cocobolo.
