Sidewinder models are the most populous line in the Custom Shop side of the Conklin Guitars catalog. One of the most standard specs lists includes a solid, double-cut body, bolted maple neck, 24-fret fingerboard, Sperzel tuners, 25-1/2" scale, Floyd Rose bridge, passive humbucking pickups and a combination of mahogany and some sort of maple top for the body. Maple, rosewood and bubinga fingerboards are very popular. Sidewinder 6 Hollowbody deviates from the original concept and offers the fully hollow body made of dragonwood back, sides and top. Top is carved and equipped with a two-piece fixed bridge section. In the front, there are two passive pickups. Neck on this model is made of three pieces of maple and it`s topped with a 24-fret cocobolo fingerboard.
