Sidewinder is the most populous series in the Conklin Custom Shop section of the catalog. It features the solid (most of the times, though there are hollow-bodied models) and double-cut bodies, 25-1/2" scales, exotic top covers (most of the time, one or more exotic wood is used as a top), bolted necks and 24-fret fingerboards. Also, there are 6, 7 and 8-string models in within the Sidewinder range. Sidewinder 7 Melted Top is solid, double-cut guitar with 25-1/2" scale. It`s body is made of mahogany back and melted top (flamed maple and quilted maple). Floyd Rose bridge is fronted with a set of two humbucking pickups. Bolt-on neck is made of maple and it features the standard 24-fret ebony fingerboard on it`s top.
