EVL is Cort`s series of sinister-looking and evil-sounding Superstrat guitars. These black-clad six and seven-stringers are fit with double-cut bodies, 24-fret fingerboards, standard 25-1/2" scales, EMG pickups and locking tremolo bridges. EVL K4 opens the series with a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany. Both the top and the back of the body are contoured and lack binding. Black Satin is the only color scheme assigned for this model and it is matched with chrome-plated hardware. Locking tremolo bridge is installed on the top and it is fronted with a pair of EMG HZ pickups. These active humbuckers have a basic controls unit installed with them. 3-piece maple neck is bolted to the body and it features the series standard 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on it`s top.
