The new X300 is an upper-intermediate X series model (upper-intermediate in terms of Cort catalog and X series lineup), packed with great features and offered at a competitive price. Brown Burst, Grey Burst, and Blue Burst were selected into the initial color palette. All three sport black hardware, gloss finish (both body and neck), unpainted headstock, black plastic parts. The main construction features (found on all three variants) include a solid and double-cut body made of American basswood, two-piece flame maple top (no binding, no pickguard), hard maple neck (standard profile, bolt-on joint), 24-fret maple fingerboard (compound radius of an undisclosed range, 25-1/2" scale, jumbo frets w/black dot inlays), Floyd Rose Special double-locking bridge unit, EMG RetroActive Hot70 pickups, and die-cast tuners.
