Maverick series is a thing rarely seen, it is a line of guitars with Telecaster-like design and short 24-3/4" scales. Strangely enough, in DBZ`s rendition short scale works like a charm, breathing some fresh air into the age-old T concept. Maverick SM is a single-cut guitar with a characteristic DBZ carved top. The base of the body is made of mahogany, while the top is made of spalted maple. Mahogany neck with U profile in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top completes the Maverick SM chassis. Seymour Duncan`s Pearly Gates in the bridge and 59 in the neck position are able to summon all the rich and beautiful blues, jazz and rock tones of the decades past. TOM bridge and Grover tuners are also among the major features.
