Cadillac is, along with the cult ML, Dean`s most popular and most successful design. Like the said ML, Cadillac came into being after Dean Zelinsky crossed two of already popular Gibson shapes. This time, it was a combination of the pointy front end of the Explorer and the round back of the LP. The current 1980 3 Pickups model is a very faithful recreation of the immensely popular 1980 Cadillac. It comes with a characteristic single-cut body made entirely of mahogany and a set in neck also made of mahogany. Two-piece bridge unit and a set of three DMT Design humbuckers sit on a bound top (seven-ply black/white binding). 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl block inlays, gold-plated hardware (including the plastics) and die-cast tuners wrap the specs list of this super elegant Cadillac.
