The Colt series is Dean`s ticket for the semi-hollow and hollow-body class of the market. It is roughly based on the popular models from 50`s and 60`s, but bring everything a modern player might want from a semi or hollow guitar.
Colt Standard is a cleverly made vintage/modern guitar with semi-hollow construction, simple and elegant styling and high quality hardware & electronics. The body (back, sides, top) is made of maple, as is the neck. The neck is glued in and has a standard C profile in the back. 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays and 25-1/2" scale tops the neck. DMT Design`s BKBK humbuckers with a standard Colt controls unit comprise the electronics unit. Two-piece top-load bridge and Grover tuners make sure this baby stays perfectly in tune.
