Custom 350 Flame Maple is one of numerous novelties introduced by Dean Guitars at this year`s NAMM show. It comes with a solid, double-cut body with slightly carved top. It is made of basswood back and flamed maple top. There is no binding around the body, nor there`s a pickguard on top. Flamed maple panels are bookmatched and beautifully carved. Sense of elegance is enhanced with luxurious gloss finish. There are five color options available for this model: Trans Amberburst, Trans Red, Trans Green, Gloss Natural and Trans Power Purple. Body of this model sports a bolt-on neck joint and deep lower cutaway to allow easier access to the 14th fret. Bridge section is a simple one, it has a tune-o-matic bridge without a stoptail bar. Instead, it features string-through-body construction. Pickups on this model come in H/H configuration with open coil design for hot rod looks. Standard controls unit features push/pull switch for coil splitting. Neck is made of maple and it features the modern C contour in the back. On it`s top, there`s a standard 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. It has white dot position inlays.
