Custom Zone was created back in the 80s, to compete with the odd, neon-colored axes made by other brands (and played by glam/hair bands of the time). Somehow, the glam movement drowned in 90s grunge and alt rock, but Custom Zone seems impervious to changes.
Custom Zone 2 HB kicks off with an offset (flat-top) body, bolt-on neck w/25/1-2" scale, black hardware, and passive electronics. Florescent Green and Florescent Pink are available color options (featuring painted fingerboards). Core construction features include mahogany body, maple neck (C profile, conventional six-in-line headstock), and 22-fret maple fingerboard (jumbo frets, side dot inlays, 1.6875" Floyd Rose nut, 16" radius).
Other important features include DMT Design pickups, non-locking tremolo bridge, and sealed die-cast tuners.
