Thoroughbred guitars are a take on the classic Les Paul concept and they`re based on Dean`s philosophy which accentuates the pursuit of the ultimate sustain and tone. With the DCR #10 TB DLX, Dean`s made one of the best Thoroughbreds ever. It kicks off with a classic mahogany/flamed maple combination of body woods. Of course, mahogany is at the base while the two-piece flamed maple cap rocks the classic Thoroughbred curve. USA DMT Equalizer (bridge) and Nostalgia (neck) pickups with gold covers are installed on the top. Two-piece bridge unit and tuners are also plated in gold. Glossy Trans Cherry Sunburst is the only color option available for this beauty. The $899 price tag also brings a set in mahogany neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
