Michael Amott is one of the most influential and most respected guitar players coming from Sweden. He has made his name back in the 1980s and 1990s with seminal death metal band Carcass. His current band, Arch Enemy, exists for almost 20 years and is at the fore front of the new wave of melodic death metal bands. His signature series consists of a range of V-shaped guitars and Michael Amott Tyrant X is the series opener. This flat-top V is made of basswood and is available only in black with gloss finish. Tune-o-matic bridge with string-through construction is fronted by a pair of passive Dean humbuckers. Neck is bolted to the body. It`s made of maple and it`s topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
