Stealth was born as a future replacement for Dimebag`s ML axes. It was designed by the man himself, but it never became what it was meant to be due to Dime`s tragic death. Stealth featured pointier design, sharper edges and overall tougher looks. Essentially, Stealth remained faithful to its ML legacy and spirit despite the changes. Today, Stealth series features both Dimebag tribute models and standard Dean USA and Custom models. In 2016, the Stealth roster will become richer for the magnificent Stealth Floyd FM in Trans Brazilia color. With price tag of $999, new Stealth promises pro level performance.
The new Stealth comes with a solid and single cut mahogany body with a beveled maple top (flamed maple, of course). Currently, Trans Brazilia is featured as the only color option (though other signature Dean burst options can be expected in the future). Set in neck is made of mahogany and it`s topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard. Diamond inlays with razor at the 12th fret grace the fingerboard.
Seymour Duncan Dimebucker in bridge position and DMT humbucker in the neck position deliver a sizzling hot tone with monster low end and almost endless sustain. Floyd Rose 1000 bridge, locking string nut and die-cast tuners keep this beast in perfect tune no matter how many dive bombs you throw at them. All in all, Stealth Floyd ML is a stage-worthy and very professionally made six-string. Gorgeous looks, top-level playability and killer tone make it an instant favorite.
