Charcoal Burst
VX Flame Top is V Flame Top`s budget-oriented version. Both were introduced at 2017 NAMM as members of Dean`s 2017 lineup. The MSRP for this affordable rocker is set at $599.00, while the price floats around $400 mark ($399.00).
VX Flame Maple top comes in with classic Dean V styling, including black hardware, white body binding and vintage-styled plastics. The chassis is made up of lightweight body, two-piece flamed maple top, C-shaped maple neck (bolt-on joint, 24-3/4" scale) and 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (jumbo frets, dot inlays, 1-11/16" plastic nut). VX is currently available only in Charcoal Burst.
Major hardware and electronics features include a string-through-body TOM bridge, DMT Design humbuckers and sealed die-cast tuners.
