Z 79 Blue Burst is a member of the Blue Burst quartet Dean introduced at this year`s NAMM. The remaining three members are V 79 Blue Burst, ML 79 Blue Burst, and ML 79 Floyd Blue Burst. All four models feature flat-top bodies clad in gorgeous Blue Burst paint scheme, with chrome-plated hardware and classic late-seventies styling. Z 79 Blue Burst`s MSRP is set at $799 (the same as other two hardtail Blue Burst models). Core construction features include a solid and single-cut mahogany body (white binding, no pickguard, no top), a mahogany neck (C-shape, set-in joint), a 22-fret pau ferro fingerboard (jumbo frets, dot inlays, 1.6875" nut, 24.75" scale), a string-thru tune-o-matic bridge, zebra-coiled pickups, and Grover tuners.
