Whitechapel`s Alex Wade is one third of band`s rhythm/lead guitar trio. Other two members are Ben Savage and Zach Householder. All three are ESP signature artists with LTD models (thus far, none of them received an E-II or ESP USA, ESP Original signatures), and all three will have their lineups updated for 2016. Alex Wade`s model will be named AW-7B, will have a new finish and several updated features.
AW-7B comes with a solid and double-cut body made of swamp ash and a through-body maple neck. The body is covered with a black plastic pickguard which matches the color of the hardware. Slim and fast three-piece neck on the other side, features a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on top (1.89" molded nut, 15.75" radius, side-dot markers).
Electronics unit rocks a pair of seven-stringed DiMarzio D-Activator 7 humbuckers. Though passive, these bad boys can give any active pickups combo a good run for its money. One volume knob, one tone knob and a blade switch comprise the controls. String-through hardtail bridge and locking LTD tuners complete this baritone-scaled (26-1/2" scale) seven-string.
