many a bands out there have only one guitar player, two guitarists in a band is sort of a standard (especially if it`s a heavier sounding band), but very few have three. Quite probably, Iron Maiden is the most popular band with three guitar players. Among the younger, heavier bands, Whitechapel is the brightest example of a three-guitarist band. Ben Savage has been with Whitechapel since the beginning (2006). Along with the other two guitarists (Alex Wade, Zach Householder), Ben is ESP/LTD signature artist. His new model, BS-7B QM is coming out at 2016 NAMM. BS-7B QM is a solid and double-cut guitar with alder base and quilt maple top. The top is bound in white and features no pickguard. Bolt-on maple neck is made of three pieces of wood and is topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard (1.89" locking nut, thumbnail inlays, XJ frets). DiMarzio`s D-Activator 7 humbuckers fill both the bridge and neck positions, and have a super simple controls unit (master volume and a three-way toggle switch). BS-7B QM features a licensed Floyd Rose locking bridge and a set of locking LTD tuning machines.
