Multi-Swirl
The new Cult `86 is a limited edition guitar offered through ESP`s LTD catalog. It is a faithful recreation of the legendary ESP Vernon Reid (of Living Colour fame) used in mid 80s, which was the precursor of a three decade long Superstrat trend.
LTD Cult `86 is not strictly a Vernon Reid signature model, but it does pay a tribute to both the artist and mid 80s ESP ST guitars. Solid & flat alder body, bolt-on maple neck (three-piece construction, Thin U profile) and ebony fingerboard (22 extra jumbo frets, thumbnail inlays, white binding, 1.65" molded nut) form the chassis. Multi-colored swirl paint job (w/black pickguard, black hardware and black plastics) is the only available color option.
Floyd Rose Special bridge, EMG active pickups in HSS arrangement and Grover tuners complete this mighty axe.
