E-II Horizon Electric Guitars by ESP
Horizon is one of the pillars of ESP brand. It is present in every tier of the catalog, from LTD to ESP Original. ESP E-II line of Horizon models features a huge variety of models, offering something for every metal fan. There are three bridge options (Floyd Rose, Two-piece hardtail and string-through-body tune-o-matic), two pickup options (passive Seymour Duncan in several variants and active EMG, also in several combinations) and several tonewood combos. E-II Horizon FR-II is new for 2016. It is available in See-Thru Black Sunburst and Tiger Eye Sunburst options, has mighty EMG pickups and a double-locking bridge.
The body of this metal machine is solid, carved on top and made of mahogany and quilt maple. Mahogany is found on the wings, while the maple cap sits on top. The neck, which also comprises the center portion of the body, is made of three pieces of maple. It rocks a thin U profile in the back and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on top (XJ frets, thumbnail inlays, 1.65" locking nut and 12" radius).
EMG`s 81 in the bridge and 60 in the neck promise a brutal tone with virtually infinite sustain and remarkable clarity. Original Floyd Rose bridge and locking Gotoh tuners wrap the specs list.
