As the boundaries of extreme metal expand ever faster, guitarists are constantly on a quest for the ultimate guitar and currently 8-string guitars are the most extreme massively produced instruments. Though reserved at first, ESP is now one of the leaders in the field.
E-II HRF NT-8B is an exclusive baritone (27" scale) guitar with eight strings, EMG electronics and a 24-fret fingerboard. The body of this juggernaut is made entirely of alder (both the base and the carved top). The neck is made of three pieces of maple and it runs through the body. Fingerboard`s made of ebony and rocks the standard ESP styling. EMG 81 and 85 in their most infernal incarnation to date sit in the bridge and neck positions. Other major features include an eight-saddled hardtail bridge and locking Gotoh tuning machines.
