G-LP-50`s is one of currently two models in the vintage-oriented Grass Root series. main task of this line is to recreate, as close as possible, some of the legendary solid-bodies from the 1950s. Thus far, one Explorer model has been introduced along with this striking LP. Solid and single-cut body of this marvelous six-stringer is made of mahogany base and a high-quality flamed maple top, the most famous and sought after combo of LP body woods. Super elegant top is fit with the vintage-styled binding, a two-piece bridge unit and a pair of active humbuckers with chrome-plated covers and the classic LP-styled controls unit. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays and extra jumbo-sized frets.
