LTD`s side of the AX series offers a set of metal-oriented six-stringers with simple construction, aggressive design and very affordable hardware and electronics. The main focus of this series are the younger metalheads who need a reliable guitar in their hands for a reasonable sum of money. AX-250 is one of the better models in the series roster. It is a simple double-cut guitar with a flat basswood body and bolted maple neck. Hardtail bridge unit features the lone tune-o-matic bridge with string-through-body construction and black chrome plating. Pickups in it`s front are passive EMG HZ humbuckers with a rather simple controls unit. Fast and smooth maple neck is fit with a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood on the top.
