LTD AX models feature extreme design and standard LTD construction and materials. These double-cut six-stringers are reminiscent of B.C. Rich creations, most notably the Warlock and the Beast and their derivatives. Other than that, AX models have developed their own style and tone. LTD`s side of the AX series is fit with several interesting and surprisingly versatile models. AX-260 is the intermediate option and it comes with a solid, double-cut agathis body. Bolted U-shaped neck is made of maple. ESP sells this model in glossy black color with black hardware. Standard set of two ESP LH-301 humbuckers gives this model enough power for rehearsing, practicing and small venue gigs. Versatility, rather than power is the strong point of these pickups. Maple neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
