In rock`n`roll dictionary, letter M is reserved for the younger and more intense cousin named metal and thus, the M series found in ESP`s LTD side of the catalog is synonymous with the metal genre. Models found in this series are solid, double-cut guitar with predominantly flat tops and simple metal-oriented styling. M-307 is one of very few seven-stringers in the lineup and it ranks among the finest ones in the lower intermediate sector of the market. It comes with a simple, flat mahogany body with a deep cutaway and maple neck running through it`s core. On the top, there is a licensed Floyd Rose bridge and a pair of EMG`s HZ humbuckers. U-shaped maple neck is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
