VB400 belongs to the LTD side of the Viper series and it brings an intermediate set of specs and appointments. Solid and double-cut body of this model features asymmetrical cutaway horns (more so than the traditional SG body on which this model is based), offset waist and beveled top. It is made of mahogany and is paired with a three-piece maple neck. VB`s color palette is not particularly big and wide, as it is only available in black with satin finish and black hardware. Pickups section of this model is fit with the classic EMG 81/85 combo of pickups. Controls unit installed with them is made up of master volume and master tone knobs and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Grover tuners and the 24-fret rosewood fingerboard complete the specs.
