ESP`s MV series is a line of solid-bodied Soloist guitars made for the fans of the classic 1980s Superstrat styling and tone. Most of the models are fit with the vintage passive Seymour Duncan pickups with simple and straightforward controls. Also, flat tops, bolted necks and 24-fret fingerboards are standard for these high voltage six-stringers. MV-CTM is one of the special models in the series. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of alder with a two-piece flamed maple cap on top. Deep Cranberry with gloss finish and chrome hardware is the only color option available for this model. Six-saddled Floyd Rose bridge with locking nut and a pair of passive Seymour Duncans are installed on the top. Maple neck is topped with a standard 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
