PC-2V FM is one of several models introduced into the first lineup of the newly established Xtone segment. Xtone was launched in order to further diversify ESP`s catalog and draw in players who play other types of music, except hard rock, metal and punk. Solid-bodied electric guitars made for extreme music do remain the most important element of the ESP catalog, but is looking to broaden the horizons. PC-2V FM is one of the Xtone`s premier models. It features a fully hollow body made of mahogany and maple (mahogany back and sides and flamed maple top). Bridge section on this model is a standard one, it`s made up of the tune-o-matic bridge in the front and Bigsby vibrato tailpiece in the back. Set in maple neck, active Seymour Duncan pickups and rosewood fingerboard complete the specs.
