Some would say that the iconic Strat and metal-oriented ESP are two separate worlds, and they wouldn`t be that much wrong. But, what would happen when Stratocaster and ESP worlds collide, is a question which, obviously, intrigued ESP very much. The collision happened, both worlds survived, though changed, and added up to something even better - the great SN series. SN models embody ESP`s vision of where Fender should have taken the `80s Strat. For 2016, three SN-200 models are being introduced and 200HT is one of them. It is a double-cut, flat-top guitar with bolted neck, 25-1/2" scale and passive electronics.
HT comes with a flat basswood body covered with a big black pickguard and a U-shaped maple neck covered with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. The fingerboard has a standard set of features - extra jumbo frets, small dot inlays, 1.65" molded nut and 13.77" radius.
Electronics segment rocks a set of three passive pickups - all ESP Designed. LH-150 humbucker in the bridge and LS-120 singles in the middle and neck positions. Master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch comprise the controls. Fixed string-through bridge (LTD branded) and die-cast tuners (also LTD) form the hardware section.
