Distressed 3-Tone Sunburst
TE-254 is among the more affordable TE series models. It rocks a classic single-cut body, vintage-oriented hardware and electronics features, as well as worn finish. 254 is a unique blend of classic and modern and a real show-stopper axe.
TE-254 starts off with a solid, flat ash body and a bolt-on maple neck (the combination used on early Tele, Esquire and Strat models). The vintage theme is only partially completed with modern nickel hardware and 22-fret fingerboard (though made of maple, 254`s fingerboard has 22 extra jumbo frets). Distressed 3-Tone Burst is very reminiscent of the classic Fender 3-Tone Sunburst, with worn finish granting it a whole new dimension of cool.
ESP Designed pickups with flipped single/hum arrangement, modern Tele bridge and LTD tuners complete this distressed axe.
