ESP`s M and TE series draw their inspiration from the 1950`s classic double-cut and single-cut designs, respectively. Whereas the M series follows the Strat lines (though heavily updated and modernized), TE is still pretty faithful to the original Telecaster shape.
TE-II Hardtail is an ESP USA Shop model, based on the standard TE concept. Fixed features include a mahogany body, bolt-on maple neck, fixed six-saddle bridge (string-through-body construction), and locking Sperzel tuners. Appearance-wise, each player has a broad selection of top wood options, as well as a wide palette of solid and transparent color options.
In the electronics department, players can choose between Seymour Duncan`s `59 Custom Hybrid/Jazz (passive option) and EMG`s 81X/85X (active option) combos.
