Ultratone is one of the smallest series in the ESP catalog with the roster featuring only two models, Ultratone SL and Ultratone SL-7. Regular SL is a six-stringer, whole the SL-7 has an extra string. Ultratone models are solid, double-cut and feature vintage styling. Also, ESP equips them with strong and versatile pickups, which gives almost unlimited possibilities to the player. Ultratone SL-7 is a solid and double-cut guitar with a body made of mahogany, maple, or bubinga, depending on the variant chosen by the player. Half Mat Old Natural and Black are the color schemes assigned to this series. Two-piece bridge unit is installed on the top, as well as a pair of Seymour Duncan seven-string Blackouts. U-shaped maple neck is bolted to the body and topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
