David Gilmour`s Stratocaster is one of the most desired and sought after Stratocasters of all time, ranking in front of some of the most iconic non-signature Strats ever made. This one comes in elegant black with gloss finish and nickel-plated hardware. Both the body and neck (including the fingerboard) are lightly aged, as to resemble David`s own guitar as much as possible. Body of this magnificent six-stringer is solid, double-cut and made of alder. On the top, there`s a black plastic pickguard. Pickups installed on the top are all single-coiled and made by Fender and Seymour Duncan. Fat Strat `50s pickups are in the neck and middle, while the bridge position is fit with the SSL-5 single-coil pickup. Tremolo bridge is equipped with six saddles and string-through construction. Maple neck is topped with a 21-fret maple fingerboard.
