Limited 1955 Stratocaster Relic 2TSB belongs to the Limited Edition series in Fender`s Custom Shop catalog. This Limited Edition Strat is solid, double-cut and made of ash, instead of the brand-wide standard alder. Back in the early 1950s, ash was the dominant tonewood and it was heavily used for guitar bodies. The one on the 1955 Strat Relic is solid, double-cut and flattened on the top. Bolt-on neck joint and carved top complete the body. Bridge section is a standard one and it is fit with a non-locking tremolo bridge with strong-through-body construction. Pickups installed in it`s front are passive and installed in S/S/S pattern. Neck on this model is solid, double-cut and made of maple. 21-fret fingerboard made of maple.
