Limited Edition is a series where all the special one-off models are situated. Sometimes the runs are limited to ten copies, few dozens, or hundreds. The common thing for them all is that they all have highly customized specs lists and can differ a great deal from the standard models. The model to open the Limited Edition series for Fender Custom Shop is the Limited 1956 Relic Stratocaster. This special Strat has vintage styling with worn paint and aged hardware. Body of this six-string marvel is made of ash. It features the classic plastic pickguard on the top. Aged gold hardware is installed on this model. tremolo bridge is a classic, non-locking one and it is fronted with a set of Abby Red Hot single-coils. Maple neck is topped with a 21-fret maple fingerboard.
