Fender Custom Shop Limited '50s Esquire
Limited Edition Electric Guitars by Fender Custom Shop
Limited Edition Electric Guitars by Fender Custom Shop
Limited '50s Esquire is a faithful replica of the original Esquire from 1950s. The Esquire is the predecessor to the much more popular Telecaster model. In fact, these two looked the same in the beginning. Telecaster had both the bridge and neck pickup, while the Esquire had only the bridge position pickup. Limited '50s Esquire is solid, single-cut guitar with a standard ash body and maple neck. Body features slightly worn Blonde paint with gloss finish and chrome hardware. Hardware on this six-stringer is aged and worn. Vintage-styled Telecaster bridge is featured on the top and it features string-through-body construction (it was a novelty back in 1950). Bridge pickup is a single-coil and it is alone. Maple neck is bolted to the body and topped with a 21-fret maple fingerboard.
