Acoustasonic might appear to be just like every other Tele in the Fender/Squier catalog with it`s flat body, bolted neck and classic decorations. But, it is much more than a regular Tele. Main difference is in the electronics department, where the Acoustasonic Telecaster features a hybrid pickups combo. Bridge position is occupied by a piezo pickup, while the neck position is fit with the standard single-coil pickup. Master volume, master tone and the blade switch are featured in their standard positions, while the piezo controls are installed on the side of the body. Body of this interesting Tele is made of ash and spruce. It is paired with a classic C-shaped maple neck. On it`s top, Fender installs the regular 21-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
